State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the reported theft of medication.

Troopers said Deneen Shade, 48, of 121 W. Laurel St., Tremont, reported someone took prescribed oxycodone and ocycontin 15mg from her pill bottles located on a table in her home. The incident occurred sometime between 8:45 and 9:30 a.m. on June 28.Troopers also reported a crminal mischief and theft incident occurring at 415 Market St., Lot 9, in Port Carbon. Troopers said a vacant trailer was entered by prying open a door. Inside the criminals removed a sink faucet from the kitchen area. The faucet was later given to a person living in another trailer in the same lot. The trailer is owned by Gregory Weiland, 47, of Port Carbon. The investigation into this incident is continuing, troopers added.
