State Police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Schuylkill County Friday morning.

In the commission of this crime, the suspect, a black male, about 6-feet-2-inches, with scruffy facial hair believed to be in his late 20s, walked into the Halifax Bank at 920 E. Wiconisco Ave., Tower City Borough at around 10:10 a.m.After entering the bank, the suspect walked up to the tellers of the bank and demanded money. The suspect did not brandish a weapon. Once the suspect received the money, he exited the bank and walked north across E. Wiconisco Avenue.The suspect, described as wearing a dark-colored baseball hat, a long sleeve flannel shirt, and dark blue jeans.
