Several area residents were among 32 who were approved by Schuylkill County District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon to be admitted in the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) probation program.

The program is for first time offenders in non-violent crimes.They were admitted into the program by Judge John E. Domalakes, who imposed certain conditions. If they successfully complete the program their record will be wiped clean.
