St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, is also preparing for the 42nd annual Switchback Scamper, 10K Run and 5K Walk. The office start of the collection dates will be Monday, July 9 through Friday, Aug. 10. The hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m to 2 p.m. and Wed., evenings, from 6 to 8 p.m. Those who wish to donate clothing to the drive, please make sure the clothing is not soiled or torn and in suitable condition.The give away will begin on Thursday, Aug. 12 ending Saturday, Aug. 18.
