A driver suffered minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident in Franklin Township.

According to state police at Lehighton, on June 20, at 10:14 p.m., along SR209 a 1999 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Tyler G. Shaeffer, of Jim Thorpe, was stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Interchange Road and Harrity Road, waiting to make a turn. When the light turned green he made a left turn into the oncoming path of a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, driven by Brian S. Shandra of Lehighton. Shandra suffered minor injuries in the crash.Shaeffer was charged with vehicles turning left.
