Charges are pending against a 17-year-old Kunkletown male who was found to be under the influence of marijuana.

According to state police at Lehighton, on June 21, at 10:25 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop for a violation of traffic laws several times as it drove along SR209 in Lehighton, near Dunbar's Bottling. At the time officers determined that the driver was under the influence of marijuana and taken for a blood test at Blue Mountain Health System, Gnaden Huetten campus.Charges are pending the blood test results.
