Lansford Police took into custody a wanted person on June 8. Edward Rivera, 27, of 821 E. Ridge St., Lansford, was taken into custody following an incident which took place at the East End Playground. A record check found he was wanted on a probation violation stemming from an incident which took place in Philadelphia. He was transported to Carbon County Prison awaiting transfer to Philadelphia.
