Two area residents were among 41 who were arraigned Monday before District Attorney Karen Noon Byrnes at the Schuylkill County courthouse on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested trial by jury. They were:

Vine St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell, with hindering apprehension of her boyfriend wanted by authorities.The police report states he was found hiding in a cedar chest covered by blankets and pillows. Hill was also charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Matthew Houser, with four counts of altering, forging or counterfeiting documents and license plates, one count each of operating a vehicle without an official inspection certificate, driving while her license was suspended, and of failing to carry insurance on her vehicle.Sean K.
