A Schuylkill County teen driver was cited following a one vehicle crash that occurred about 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, along Mountain Road, in Pine Grove Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Michael W. Siegel, 18, of Pine Grove, was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer eastbound when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the road, then re-entered it. The Ford then traveled about 40 feet crossing from the north side to the south side turing sideways as it did. The Ford then left the road and rolled over onto the driver's side and struck a tree with the root and rear section, where it came to rest. This section of road is not paved, but made up of cinder type materials, troopers noted.Siegel and two male passengers, ages 12 and 13, were all injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian St., Pottsville.Siegel was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic, troopers added.
