The Palmerton Food Pantry will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday, June 15. The pantry is located at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton. Bring your own lawn chair.In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Borough Hall, 443 Delaware Ave. Next week, June 24, the concert will be by Who Knows.Holy Trinity ChurchHoly Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, will observe Holy Communion on Father's Day, Sunday, June 17. Worship services are at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.Beginning July 1 and continuing through Sept. 9, Holy Trinity will have a single worship service at 9 a.m. during the summer season.The church picnic will be held Sunday, June 24, at Palmerton Memorial Park. It will begin with a worship service in the big pavilion at 10:45 a.m.Vacation Bible SchoolVacation Bible School will be June 25-29, from 6-8 p.m., at First United Church of Christ, Delaware Avenue, Palmerton. The theme is "Sonrise-National Park VBS." There will be Bible stories, crafts, games and music. Adults can share the experience by helping with classes and activities.
