A Carbon County inn has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violating the state liquor code.

Heart of the Valley Inc, trading as Inn of William Stoddard, 345 Stagecoach Rd., Lehighton, Towamensing Township, was cited for allegedly on May 4 sold, furnished, and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a minor.The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
