Pocono Mountain Regional police are investigating acts of vandalism that occurred at a Monroe County school and at other locations near the school.
Police said about 4:12 a.m. on Wednesday, June, 6, they were called to the Pocono Mountain West High School campus by school security.On scene the officers observed numerous road signs and school district signs marked with spray paint.Portions of the roadway had also been marked with spray paint.Police said many of the markings had the letters, "FTP" and "CREW", as well as, "FTP VILE CREW." While checking the area officers observed a road sign on Sullivan Trail Road and the mailbox building at the entrance to Emerald Lakes community marked with the same lettering.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at (570) 895-2400.
