State police at Lehighton reported on assault incidents probed by troopers.

On Friday, June 8, about 10:38 p.m. at the Central Lunch, located along Bridge Street, in Weissport, troopers were investigating an incident between Michael Jones, 59, of Weissport, and his father, when he kicked a trooper in the leg.Michael Jones was charged with aggravated assault.Troopers said Anthony Borrelli, 25, of Bowmanstown, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. on May 24 following a domestic incident at 621 White St., Bowmanstown. He was charged with simple assault.
