Seven young people recently received the Rite of Confirmation at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton, on Pentecost Sunday, May 27. Pentecost is the birthing of the Church by the descent of the Holy Spirit on Jesus' apostles. The seven students completed two years of catechetical instruction and did volunteer service projects before affirming their baptisms and publicly confirming their faith.
