State police at Lehighton reported on the following driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.
On Saturday, June 2, about 5:16 p.m. Alan Predmore, 48, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested following a crash along Behrens Road, in Penn Forest Township. Troopers said Predmore was the operator of a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck that left the road and crashed into a tree. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Palmerton hospital for a blood test.Also on Saturday, about 11:05 p.m., Matthew Wallis, 40, of Whitehall, was observed operating a 2009 Kia Spectra erratically along SR209, south of Stagecoach Road West, in Franklin Township. A traffic stop was made and Wallis was found to be under the influence. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Palmerton hospital for a blood test.On Sunday, June 3, about 10:47 p.m. troopers were in the area of Silver Springs Blvd., near Molasses Valley Road, in Polk Township, checking for a injured person who was found sitting next to the road.It was later learned the person was picked up and taken to the Palmerton hospital.Troopers went to the hospital and observed a 2007 Toyota Camry parked on the emergency room drop off ramp. At the hospital troopers found Cynthia Pittenger, 46, of Effort. She was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.
