Two Lansford men waived their hearings in three separate, unrelated sexual assault incidents, all of them involving 14-year-old girls.

John Anthony Provisiero, 18, of East Kline Avenue, agreed to enter guilty pleas for allegedly sexually assaulting two different teens. He is being held in Carbon County Prison in lieu of $100,000 straight bail for each alleged incident.Christopher Miller, 23, of East Ridge Street, waived a hearing for an unrelated case. He is incarcerated in the Carbon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 straight bail.Both had been scheduled to appear before District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek of Lansford.The arresting officer in all three cases is Detective Jack Soberick of the Lansford Police Department.Both of Provisiero's alleged incidents occurred in April of this year.In each of the cases, he is charged with statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, and corruption of minors.In the first case, Provisiero allegedly admitted to police that he had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl. The affidavit adds that Provisiero indicated "that this was a recurring act over a course of three weeks."The female victim, when interviewed by police, said Provisiero did not wear protection during the incidents.The second incident involving another 14-year-old girl happened during the overnight hours of April 13 and April 14.The affidavit says that during that time, "The defendant persisted in attempting to convince the victim to engage in sex with him. She stated that she initially relented, but then told him to wait."Provisiero allegedly forced himself on her, the affidavit alleges.Later, when Provisiero was interviewed by police, he admitted to them that he knew the girl was only age 14.Miller's alleged incident happened on the night of April 14 into the morning of April 15.He has been charged with indecent assault and corruption of minors.According to the affidavit, the victim was at a residence with her friend, also age 14. Miller also was present.It is alleged that Miller put his hands inside of the victim's pants.The girl told police that "although the two had been hanging out, she did not want the defendant to touch her in her private areas."She said, according to the affidavit, "that she had told (Miller) 'no,' but he did not stop."
