State police at Fern Ridge investigated a number of crashes on Monroe County roads.

A crash was reported about 2:46 p.m. on May 19 along SR715 in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Dale J. Bielecki, 58, of Hamburg, Berks County, was northbound in a 2002 Jeep and attempting a left turn and Pamela L. Steuer, 34, of Saylorsburg, was southbound in a 2008 Pontiac G6.Troopers said Bielecki failed to make a proper turn and remained in the center of the road and Steuer couldn't avoid a collision.No one was injured. Troopers cietd Bielecki for driving on the right side of roadway.A crash occurred about 4:30 p.m. on May 23 along SR115 in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said said a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Iraj P. Lopez, 18, of Effort, struck a 2008 Chevrolet Impala operated by Sharon G. Garcia, 56, of Blakeslee.Garcia sustained a minor injury but did not require medical attention. Lopez and passenger, Larissa A. Lopez, 20, were not injured.Troopers said Lopez was cited but did not indicate for what.A one-vehicle crash was reported about 6:29 p.m. on May 23 along Bartonsville Woods Road, in Jackson Township. Troopers said Christine M. Abbott, 22, of Syosset, N.Y., was driving a 2006 Mazda 3 when it left the road on the right side and crashed into a tree.Abbott sustained a minor injury but did not require medical attention while her passenger, Daniel McGinley, 26, of Stroudsburg, was not injured.She was cited for careless driving.
