A Lebanon County driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 10:55 p.m. on Friday, May 25, along SR895 in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Genale M. Smith, 42, of Jonestown, was driving a 2001 Jeep Wrangler eastbound when she fell asleep at the wheel causing her to lose control.The Jeep went onto the south shoulder where it struck the guiderail, then rolled over onto the driver's side. The Jeep came to rest in a field.Smith was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, by New Ringgold ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, troopers said. Smith was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
