State police at Frackville are investigating an assault incident.

Troopers said Gregory Wilson, 22, of Girardville, was assaulted in the 200 block of B Street, in Girardville, about 4:10 p.m. on Monday, May 28. He was taken to a Pottsville hospital for treatment of injuries.Anyone who may have witnessed this assault is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
