Ricky Hunsicker, 43, of 359 W. Patterson St. Lansford, faces charges from an incident which took place on Nov. 16, 2011 at 11:05 p.m. on East Patterson Street. Charges of simple assault and two counts of harassment were filed by Officer Jeffrey Ohl.

According to an affidavit of probable cause:Police were dispatched to a fight at Logan's 209 Pub, at 635 E. Patterson St. Upon arrival, he and Officer Joshua Tom tried to determine what had happened, but no one in the bar would cooperate. While inside the bar, Ohl saw Hunsicker laughing and saying "Fight? What fight? I didn't see no fight."Ohl went outside, and Carbon County Communications Center directed him to the victim's house. Ohl then spoke with Roy Stenger Jr. and Amber Reenock, who said they were at the bar, and Hunsicker came in and an argument began with Stenger. Both said Hunsicker began striking Stenger in the face numerous times, knocking him to the ground, where Hunsicker kicked and punched him.Reenock said Hunsicker hit her in the face several times and shoved her while she was trying to stop him. Ohl saw that her face was red and swollen, and there was a cut on the left side of Stenger's nose. He also noticed redness on Reenock's neck.Stenger was taken to St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale, when he complained of pain, blurred vision and a headache. Two days later, on Nov. 18, 2011, Hunsicker was advised of his Miranda warnings and agreed to be interviewed. He admitted to striking Stenger and shoving Reenock when she tried to get involved, but claimed it was Stenger who instigated the incident.
