Patrolman Karl Harig responded to the 200 block of West Rowe Street at 3:19 a.m. on Friday, May 18, for a report of a criminal mischief incident. At the scene Richard Michlovsky, 48, of 261 W. Rowe St. became argumentative, yelling at neighbors and the officer.Michlovsky was upset about a window that had been broken, blaming it on the neighbors. He repeatedly refused the officer's requests to calm down and threatened to complain to borough council. After multiple attempts to defuse the situation the officer charged Michlovsky with disorderly conduct and threatening a public servant, attempting to influence the judicial process.
