A three-day walkout of the 130 Beaver Meadows elementary school children came to a close today. The children were kept away from school for three days this week by their parents who want the Hazleton School Board to construct a new school for the borough or renovate the old Beaver Meadows Elementary School. Keeping the children from school was an effort to force the board to meet with the parents and discuss the aforementioned plans.
