Mr. and Mrs. Clement P. Litivinas of 735 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, who had been in Savannaket, Laos, under house arrest since May 14, are free and in good health at an Air Force Base in Thailand. According to their son, Anthony, who is a senior at Lehigh University, they told him by phone that they are fine and in good health. The couple, and 10 other Americans and seven foreigners, were placed under house arrest when students took over the town in Southern Laos. Litivinas is employed by the Federal Highway Administration and has been working in Laos and Saigon for more than 10 years.
