State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Gilbert Road and Treible Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Vincent G. Voulo, 18, of Kunkletown, driving a 2001 Chevrolet Impala, was stopped for a stop sign on Treible Drive and then pulled out in an attempt to turn left onto Gilbert Road. Troopers said he pulled in the path of a 2004 Suzuki Aerio, which was being driven northbound on Gilbert Road by Caleb S. Knudsen, 17, of Saylorsburg.The front of the Suzuki struck the left drivers' side of the Chevrolet. Voulo sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene by West End ambulance personnel. Knudsen and his passenger, Michael A. Breland, 17, of Effort, were not injured.Troopers cited Voulo for stop sign violation.
