A year after his death, the memory of Msgr. Agnello Angelini was honored with a ceremony on the church steps of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, New Columbus, Nesquehoning, dedicating the street that leads to the church as Angelini Avenue. The Rev. Bruno Tucci, now pastor of the church, served as master of ceremonies. There was a glowing tribute to the late priest by Mrs. Susan Greco, who said, "He was a compassionate man and taught us how to be compassionate."
