Hundreds turn out in Clamtown to support Nick Zeigler family

ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Just under a thousand people came out in support of the Zeigler family during a benefit held Saturday in support and memory of Nicholas "Nick" Zeigler, 21, who died last Sunday following a tragic vehicle accident that occurred the day before in the Lewistown Valley. The benefit, held at the West Penn Rod and Gun Club, consisted of music, dancing, Chinese auction, food, games and much more. On Facebook, family members posted their appreciation to all the people, strangers, bands and organizations that donated or came out in support of Nick. Sarah Seiwell, 13, top, with "Nick 1990 - 2012" painted on her face, gives Bradley Whalen, 5, a "touch" of green face paint. Bradley is the son of Glenn and Jesse Laninger of West Penn.
