Tamaqua police have cited Michael Wimer, 22, of 215 Elm St., Tamaqua, following an incident on Saturday.

Officers were dispatched to the Turkey Hill Minute Mart, 330 E. Broad St., for a male reportedly stealing merchandise. The actor was identified as Wimer, who was cited for retail theft.
