A Monroe County business has been cited by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's Wilkes-Barre enforcement office.
Big Creek Vineyard, Keler Road and Whitey B. Drive, Kunkletown R.5, Polk Township, was cited for violation of section 505.2 - sold wine after their limited winery license expired on Dec. 31, 2011, and had not been renewed and/or validated.The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
