State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary and theft incident in Schuylkill County.

The break-in occurred at 78 W. Players Way, in the Eagle Rock development in East Union Township. Forced entry was made through a window in the home. Removed were several pieces of electronic equipment. The incident occurerd sometime between April 29 and Friday, May 4.The home is owned by Louis N. Weltmann, 58, of Mt. Laurel, N.J.A vehicle was reported stolen from Girardville and later found.Troopers said Janet Balsavage, 56, of 200 E. Main St., reported her 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier stolen while parked in front of her home. The theft occurred sometime between Friday, May 4, at 10 p.m. and Saturday, at 4 a.m. The vehicle was found about 4 p.m. on Saturday in Washington. D.C. Troopers said charges are pending in the case.
