DUI arrests reported

State police reported on the following driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.

On Friday, April 27, about 8:31 p.m. troopers stopped David Defluri, 42, of Saylorsburg, along Long Mountain Road, at Serfass Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a vehicle code violation. Defluri was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI. Troopers said two children were in the vehicle with Defluri and he is also facing child endangerment charges.Also on Friday, about 9:32 p.m., troopers stopped Peter Napoli, 51, of Lehighton, along Canal St. at Bridge St., in Franklin Township, for several motor vehicle code violations. He was found to be under the influence and submitted to a breath test at the barracks. He will be charged, troopers added.On Friday about 11:40 p.m. troopers stopped Heather Dawn York, 28, of Effort, along SR534 eastbound at Barry S Road, in Polk Township, for a vehicle code violation. At the stop she was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.On Sunday, April 29, about 12:50 a.m. troopers stopped Justin T. Schmidt, 32, of Kresgeville, along SR534 at Robin Hood Lakes, in Polk Township, for a motor vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.
