The selection of Delbert Eckhart, Palmerton R. 1, as one of four Pennsylvanians to attend the 22nd National 4-H Camp at Washington D.C. as delegates from June 18 o 25, is a singular honor for Carbon County, it was announced by Ray Reitz, East Mauch Chunk, county farm agent. It is the first time a representative from this county was so delegated. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred O. Eckhart and is a member of the Big Creek 4-H Club.
