State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating two burglaries, one at a Schuylkill County business.

Troopers said K&G Subs & Suds store, located at 242 Orchard St., Auburn, was entered sometime between10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, and 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Entry was gained by forcing open the front door.Once inside the criminals located a tip jar, cash register and lock box. About $41 in coins was taken in the incident.The second entry occurred at the home of Frederick Berger, 51, of 674 Mill St., Auburn. A window on a kitchen door was smashed to gain entry. Once inside the criminals removed a fire box, lock box, U.S. currency and keys from the bedroom area.The entry occurred sometime between 2:30 and 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday.Anyone with information concerning either of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
