State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of a rare coin, valued at over $10,000, during a Monroe County burglary.

Troopers said the residence of Leonard Sturmak, 71, of Little Mexico Rd., in Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, was entered. The theft occurred sometime between Nov. 1, 2011, and April 20, troopers said.
