A 1988 graduate of Weatherly Area High School was murdered two weeks ago in Massachusetts by her husband, who later turned a gun on himself, according to officials in Middlesex County in that state.
Officials said it is believed Lori A. Levangie, 41, the former Lori Green, was shot to death by her husband, Todd Vogel, 43, who then turned the gun on himself at the couple's home in Hopkinton.The Middlesex County District Attorney, Gerry Leone, called the murder-suicide an "extreme case of martial domestic violence.,"Levangie was a regional sales manager for the Honeywell Corp. in Massachusetts.Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of Edward and Bonnie (Agresta) Green, who reside in Florida.The deceased was president of the WAHS Class of 1988 and went on to graduate in 1992 from Cedar Crest College, Allentown.Surviving in addition to her parents are a sister, Kelly Ryan Pritt, and her husband, Jodey, in Florida; a brother Edward in Pennsylvania; and nieces and nephews.She was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Frank and Rose (Roman) Agresta; and paternal grandparents, George and Irene (Bond) Green.
