The next meeting of the committee planning the Jim Thorpe High School classes 1955-1965 reunion will be held on Monday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. on the second floor conference room of the administration building on Center Avenue.

The memorial group of the committee is looking for some information about the classes. They are in need of class colors and class flowers for all classes. They would also like old photographs for a PC loop during the evening. All will be returned.Any classmate with any of the above mentioned items, may contact Al Sellers at

snap67@ptd.net, or if you have any questions about the reunion.Letters of interestThe Jim Thorpe Borough Council will be accepting letters of interest from residents interested in serving on the Jim Thorpe Zoning Hearing Board and the Jim Thorpe Planning Commission. All letters should be in an envelope addressed and marked for the board on which they are interested. They must be received by 3 p.m. on May 10.Women's Bible studyThe Women's Ecumenical Bible study group will meet on Wednesday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Room of St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue. Women of the community are invited to attend and examine some of the fascinating stories of Biblical women and learn about them and their life experiences.
