Two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests were reported in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Brian Hoffman, 43, of Pottsville, was stopped while traveling northbound SR209 (W. Market St.), Pottsville, about 12:05 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, after being observed crossing the double yellow line several times and almost striking another vehicle which was southbound.Hoffman was found to be under the influence and transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.On Sunday, April 15, troopers stopped Jonathan P. Pfeil, 28, of Schuylkill Haven, along SR61 near the Cressona Mall in North Manheim Township, for erratic driving. He was found to be under the influence and taken for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending test results.
