Harmony Scholars strut their stuff this weekend

Spring time is the right time for the annual presentation of Harmony Scholars at Panther Valley High School.

This year, Panther Valley is celebrating 20 years of Harmony Scholars with a "Best of" performance featuring crowd favorites from the past two decades.The 2012 performance is directed by Kathy Crampsie and Patty Vito and assisted by Keith Miller. The master of ceremonies will be J. Chris West. Costume design is by Terri Williams, Maureen Gurka, Karen Ruzicka, Ann Harrigan and Grace Ann Williams.The stage and set designs are the creation of Lisa Hiles, Tom Zlock, Pam Zlock, Dave King, Chrissy King, Alec Mertz Kristen Kehler, MaryAnn Yurchak, Beth Duke, Maria Sczecina, Monica Marshall and also by the parents of various cast members.Lighting directors are Pam Poeldnurk and Chris Opresko with special effects by Frank Fabrizio of Remember When Video. Music will be provided by DJ Thad Hager.The show will be held this Friday and Saturday beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Proceeds from the performances will benefit two Panther Valley Elementary School employees who are presently battling cancer as well as the American Cancer Society.
