A Tamaqua man faces charges following a traffic stop in the borough on March 29.

Officer Dane O'Brien was on patrol at 6 p.m. when he made a traffic stop in the 200 block of Market Street. The vehicle was being operated by Andrew Bensinger, 25, of 125 Penn St., Tamaqua.Charges to be filed include operating a vehicle with an ineffective exhaust suppression system, possession of a controlled substance and operating a vehicle without an official inspection sticker.
