CommUNITY Drum Circle at Schuylkill UU

Schuylkill Unitarian Universalists (Sch. UU) will present Schuylkill CommUNITY Drum Circle led by Mike Clipman of "Livin' in the Rhythm/Earth Rhythms," from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 29. Doors will open at 1 p.m.

For millennia, indigenous peoples across the globe have come together in drumming.A drum circle induces harmony, euphoria and rhythm to offset the chaos of daily life, and naturally raises, harmonizes and transmutes primal energy. The public is invited to participate and allow the rhythms to help them become aligned with themselves, the other drummers, and the pulse of nature as Clipman, the facilitator leads them on a journey through the beats and tempos of ancient Australia to Africa … and beyond. The Schuylkill Unitarian Universalists are located in the historic stone church located at 45 S. 2nd Street (corner of Ash and 2nd), Cressona.People of all ages including musicians and drummers of all talent levels, Schuylkill UU members, friends and families, and those who have open minds about religion or are interested in learning more about Unitarian Universalism, are invited to attend.Participant can bring their own percussion instrument or use one of those provided. To learn more about the Schuylkill Unitarian Universalists visit
