Woman hurt in Lehigh Township

A Lehigh County woman was injured Tuesday about 11:55 a.m. after she lost control of her car in the 3900 block of Lehigh Drive (SR248) in Lehigh Township. Township police said Natalie A. LaDue, 46, of Allentown, was driving a 2004 Jaguar eastbound in the area of the "S" curves when she lost control. The car came to rest on its side after leaving the road and climbing a embankment. Police said reportedly the vehicle was the last car in a funeral procession. LaDue was trapped in the wreckage for an hour before being freed by members of the Lehigh Township Fire Company. She was flown by PennStar helicopter to St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. Fire police maintained traffic control at the scene closing down the roadway. The investigation into the crash is continuing, police added.
