Joshua Phillips, 26, of Shenandoah, is facing charges of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, according to state police at the Frackville barracks.

Police said they made a traffic stop of a vehicle he was driving on April 7 at 5:10 a.m. at the intersection of SR54 and North White Street in the borough, at which time the operator showed signs of impairment. Field sobriety tests were administered to him, police said.
