While on scene of an overturned tractor trailer in Barnesville yesterday, police and emergency personnel raced to the aid of Rush Township Fire Police volunteer Clarence Biehn, 62, of Hometown, who collapsed while directing traffic.
Biehn received immediate care from police, firefighters, fire police and paramedics, who were still on scene after helping the injured driver of the tractor trailer.A Lifeflight helicopter landed at the Lakeside Ballroom to transport Biehn to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. The Hometown Fire Company's Facebook page states that Biehn suffered a minor stroke but currently has no serious side effects. He remains hospitalized.On the Facebook page, the family thanked all concerned for their thoughts and prayers.
