State police at Frackville reported investigating a rear-end type crash in the Schuylkill County borough of Girardville.

Troopers said Gary E. Romanot, 61, of Girardville, driving a 2003 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, was stopped on E. Main St., about 4:53 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, waiting to make a left turn into a driveway.Kenneth R. Jessman, 46, of Girardville, driving a 1997 Buick Park Avenue, was westbound and failed to stop and his vehicle hit the rear of the pickup truck.No one was injured. Troopers cited Jessman for careless driving.
