A pregnant woman was taken to Hazleton General Hospital followinga two vehicle accident at theintersection of Fairview Streetand Claremont Avenue, near the entrance to Skipper Dippersin Hometown around 4:30

p.m.yesterday. The incident involved a blue Jeep Liberty and a white Oldsmobile Intrigue. Responding in addition to Rush and Kline Township Police, were Hometown Fire Company and ambulances from Tamaqua, McAdoo and Hazleton. The names and conditions of the victims wasn't available as of press time.Hometown Fire Police directedtraffic around the area. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. RushTownship Police are investigating.
