State police at Fern Ridge reported on a one vehicle crash that occurred about 8:48 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, along the entrance ramp to Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Priscilla E. Mendoza, 18, of Cresco, was driving a 2003 Hyundai Elantra on the ramp when she failed to negotiate a right turn. Her car crossed the opposite lane and struck an embankment along the berm.Mendoza was not injured. She was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
