State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, along SR61 at Beacon St., in Palo Alto, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Victoria Zanoline, 19, of Fern Glen, was driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am eastbound on Bacon St. and stopped for a stop sign at SR61.Troopers said Zanoline then attempted to turn left to go south on 61 and pulled directly into the path of a northbound 2000 Saturn SL operated by Lauranne Wingard, 48, of Pottsville.The front driver's side of the Saturn struck the driver's side rear of the Grand Am.Zanoline and Wingard were not injured but a passenger Wingard, Carole Wingard, 75, of Pottsville, sustained a minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention.Troopers said Zanoline will be cited for causing the crash.
