A Monroe County man was jailed earlier this week for violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to 112 Lower Notch Rd., in the Indian Mountain Lakes development, in Albrightsville, about 5:35 a.m. on Monday, March 19, for a report of a domestic incident.On scene the officers spoke with Mishaira Collazo, of that address. She had an active PFA agianst her baby's father and her boyfriend, Emmanuel DelCastillo, 19, of Tobyhanna, which forbid him to have contact with her and being at her house.Collazo, police said, was less than truthful with regards of DelCastillo's location stating that he was not at the house and she didn't know where he was at. A search of the home was conducted and DelCastillo was found hiding in a bedroom closet.He was taken into custody and transported to the county prison in Snydersville where he was held for violating the PFA ordder.
