A sure sign of spring is the welcome arrival of daffodils, the flower of hope.

The American Cancer Society (ACS) distributes thousands of daffodils during its campaign of Daffodil Days. This year is its 39th annual Daffodil Days which begins March 21.By purchasing a bunch of these bright yellow harbingers of spring, you can help support the ACS's fight to find a cure for cancer. Look for them at the K-Mart in Walnutport (Friday and Saturday) and Wind Gap (Thursday-Saturday), Pathmark in Walnutport (Thursday and Friday) and Bob's Flower Shop in Palmerton (Wednesday-Saturday.)
