Community dinner

The next free community dinner will be held on Sunday, March 25, from 4-6 p.m., at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Race Street. An Easter ham dinner will be served to all that attend.Soup and scriptureSt. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, is holding a soup and scripture gathering on Wednesday evenings during this Lenten season. On Wednesday, March 21, the guest speaker will be Jack Gunsser, who will give a presentation on "science and creationism." The meal to be served this week at 6 p.m. will be vegetable soup.
