The West End Community Change Club, an outreach of Penn State's StrongWomen program, wants to foster an environment where the healthy choice is the easy choice throughout the West End community.

The public is invited to a special program on Tuesday, March 20 at the Pleasant Valley High School old auditorium, starting at 6:15 p.m. The title of the presentation is "Healthier Picks at the Grocery Store or Restaurant.The program can help people learn get better nutrition for the food dollars they spend as well as show how to make better choices when eating out.The speaker will be Marlene Nash, MS, RD, with 30 years of varied dietetics experience.There will be door prizes and exhibit tables.This program is free but pre-registration is suggested.
